ISIG: 204 workers lost their lives in workplace homicides 2025-08-08 13:23:26 ISTANBUL - Worker Health and Worker Safety Assembly (ISIG) announced the report on workplace homicides in July. According to the report, 204 workers lost their lives in July.    According to the report, the province with the highest number of workplace homicides was Istanbul, while the most common homicides were traffic accidents, falls from height and crushings.   The report stated that 195 of those who lost their lives were men, 9 of them were women, 9 of them were child workers and 7 of them were refugees.    The rate of deaths according to work sectors is as follows: 26 percent agriculture-forestry, 23 percent construction-road, 13 percent transport, 7 percent municipality, 5 percent accommodation."
